The Sunday school children I used to teach counted their blessings  one week for homework . Here they are. The children were aged four to seven years.

God-The Father, Jesus, The Holy Spirit.

The Bible.

Heaven.

Sins forgiven.

Family- Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Cousins, Husband, Wife, Friends.

People who look after us and keep us safe.

Home, School, Work.

Health.

Freedom.

Food, Drinks.

Clothes.

Sun, Rain, Animals, Gardens, Flowers, Trees.

Being able to read and write.

Music.

Hymntime

This is a real 21st century thanksgiving. I’ve been to Solihull, a suburb of Birmingham, U.K., Britain’s second city. It’s not a huge shopping centre but it was so busy and crowded. I’m thankful today for on line shopping , no crowds, noise, hustle and bustle. I enjoy peace and quiet I think.

that my daughter can cook. She’s a whizz at soup of any flavour and I don’t mean that she can use a can opener! She saw a recipe for Butternut Squash, red pepper and red chilli  soup on a carton of goat’s milk (she sometimes drinks it instead of cow’s milk as it seems to relieve her Eczema),she made it for tea, it was delicious.
