Rebecca is inviting us to share posts related to The Gospel.
I’m just going to post a few verses of scripture and a brief definition.
Gospel = good news/tidings/word.
Good news about a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus means Saviour, ……….you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21
….the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2 10-11
Some verses from Ephesians 2 describe man without Christ and God’s work in us.

that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
not of works, lest anyone should boast.

There is none in Heaven or on earth like Thee:
Thou hast died for sinners—therefore Lord for me.
