My husband sent me to this link about Sunday Schools. The programme is broadcast on BBC 4 on Thursday evening, I think I shall record it. There’s much in the summary about happy memories and the educational value of Sunday Schools. Sunday Schools had an effect on society for good but I’m hoping the programme will include mention of the Lord Jesus Christ, the one who came to save sinners, otherwise Sunday Schools are merely changing the outward behaviour not the heart.
