…that’s what I did this morning, the snooze on my alarm didn’t work. My husband gets up at 5.30 am and leaves for work at 6.30 am to travel to Bristol. I slept in until nearly 7.50am. Becky was up but didn’t think to tell either mum or brother the time. The preacher’s text last evening was Proverbs 6:6-11- you guessed, go to the ant……!
The Lord is very gracious, things didn’t go from bad to worse. I’m conscious of how I’m spending my time. I appreciate tips – using Google Reader is great, as is limiting time spent in front of the computer. I’m trying very hard to “subdue” the garden so that if it’s a fine day I mow the grass, not every day but more regularly than I’ve tended to do it – a bit like the farmer having an eye for the weather, I check the forecast and mow.
The home has been subject to DIY in the past week (School Holiday) so it’s been good to clean and tidy it.
Andy’s laying a laminate floor in Jonathan’s newly decorated bedroom, there’s a lot of banging – he’s not fallen through the ceiling nor banged a hole in the outside wall yet.
