my husband’s words to me lunch time yesterday. Why? I’d been speaking about one of the children who’d repeated the memory verse from the previous week word perfect! It was a long one too.
I often feel inadequate and discouraged and yet God is good , He sends encouragements to us and reminds us what we’re about in our service for Him. May He be glorified.
The verses were part of Samuel’s reminder to Israel about the consequences of doing things their way rather than the Lord’s way.
Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.
