We travelled yesterday evening, the roads were very quiet. We arrived at my Mum and Dad’s home at about 10pm, unpacked the car, had a chat and a cup of tea – essential in Wales, then went to bed . Thankful to God for safe travel and the children were quiet and not distracting on the journey .
My parents still live in the house they bought when they married and where I grew up, that’s amazing when I think of how mobile people are today. I still call this place “home.”


It is good to be home, isn’t it? My husband’s parents still live in the first house they bought, too.
What essential kind of tea does one drink in Wales? I’m partial to a half and half blend of Earl Grey and Irish Breakfast.
