After 3pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week had the potential for massive stress. God has been very gracious, the afternoons and evenings have gone by busily but smoothly.
On Tuesday evening , my daughter took part in a Schools’ Cheerleading Competition, they didn’t win but enjoyed taking part. I didn’t realise how much dance and gymnastics was involved. I have to say that much of the Cheerleading was just dance and gymnastics, certainly not realistic for performing on grass or outdoors! It was very noisy, loud music and shrieking girls – I guess that goes with the territory. As you can probably tell, it wasn’t the most enjoyable couple of hours I’ve ever spent- never mind, it’s fun exercise for the girls.
I have a new, quiet, fast computer. My husband has set it up and it’s working! The old one was working sluggishly under noisy protest, I think the equivalent of a tank if it was a vehicle!
On Wednesday, my daughter and I went to the Ladies’ Carol Service with (Granny/ Mum in law) . It’s good to meet for fellowship with other females/girls/women of varying age, 11 – 92 years. We read passages from the Bible, prayed and sang some Carols.
This afternoon I went to a Christmas production at my daughters school, the proceeds are to help people with Muscular Dystrophy. There’s a boy in her school year who has Muscular Dystrophy. I met up with a former neighbour whose grandaughter attends the school and another lady I used to meet at the local Swimming Pool when my children and her grandchildren were having lessons.

‘Fun exercise’…..hmmm, could do with some of that! I saw an ad for a stricly come dancersize’ dvd the other day- looks good, but I’d have to use the computer to watch it
