A friend went to Africa and on Sunday at church the people thanked God for life! She found that amazingly profound in a continent where food and water are scarce , diseases like HIV Aids are so common and because of poverty and ostrich- syndrome(burying the head in the sand) are unmanageable. Our life is given us by our God, let’s be thankful to Him for it and be faithful to Him , let’s not waste our lives.
So true – we are hoping to start a study on John Piper’s book “Don’t waste your life” soon in our Adult Sunday School.
It’s a powerful book.
